We are seeking a senior full-stack developer to join our team and help build the core platform that enables power utilities to shift from legacy systems into an AI-native future.Candidates must have a strong background in React.js and experience with back-end technologies such as Golang, Node.js, or Java, with a strong desire to adopt Golang as the primary technology.In this position, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining APIs, services, and distributed systems that form the backbone of our platform.Candidates must bring working proficiency with AI tools and APIs to ensure seamless integration of intelligent functionality into our products.Front-end Development: Build, implement, and maintain front-end applications using cutting-edge technologiesBack-end Architecture & Development: Design, implement, and maintain APIs, services, and distributed systems that enable scalable and secure data processingAI Integration: Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate models, embeddings, and agent services into back-end systems.Operate AI APIs, ensuring outputs are production-ready and aligned with enterprise requirements.System Modernization: Transform legacy workflows into modern, secure, and scalable codebases using cloud-native best practicesSecurity & Compliance: Partner with security leaders to ensure all services adhere to stringent regulations, implementing secure coding practices by defaultAgile Delivery: Deliver features and improvements in cycles measured in weeks, balancing speed with reliabilityRequired Skills:Excellent communication skills5+ years of software engineering experience in SaaS or enterprise environmentsStrong proficiency in React, Python, and either Golang, Node.js, or Java (non-Golang developers will learn and adapt on the job)Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality code in fast-moving teamsBasic proficiency with AI/ML tooling (e.g., calling APIs, integrating model outputs)Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL), message queues, and distributed architecturesCloud-native engineering experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)Clear communicator, adaptable, eager to learn and grow AI capabilities over timeStrong sense of ownership and accountability in small teamsAbout UsWe are a nearshore software development company providing outsourced development resources to North American companies.We aim to offer talented developers who enjoy taking on challenging work, want to grow their skills and experiences building software, and excel in a fast-paced dynamic team environment.
