Job TitleSenior AccountantJob Overview:We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis.As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing the full accounts receivable and payable cycles, performing weekly bank reconciliations, and assisting with credit card and expense report reconciliation.Key Responsibilities:Execute a timely and accurate month-end close by the 18th of each month, including bank reconciliations, prepaid expense schedules, accruals and deferrals, depreciation and amortization schedules, expense reclassifications, identification and analysis of revenue leakageAssist with the preparation of monthly financial statementsManage the full accounts receivable cycle: receive and process client agreements, generate and send invoices weekly, maintain AR schedule and support collections handle complex invoicing schedules)Oversee the full accounts payable cycle: receive and process vendor bills, route invoices for approval, dispute or follow up on payments when necessary (Bill.com experience preferred)Requirements:Proficient in English written and verbalProven experience in accounting and month-end close processesStrong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and ExcelFamiliarity with Bill.com is a plusExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and communicate effectively across teamsWork Schedule:Approximately 20 hours per weekAvailability required 3 times per week between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM Pacific Time during the initial ramp-up periodPost ramp-up: availability 1–2 times per week during the same hours
