Logistics Operations Manager Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire logistics operation, including transportation and customs clearance of goods from country of origin to warehouse facilities.The role involves coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in operations and logistics, preferably in a fast-paced environment.They should be able to think critically and solve problems quickly, while maintaining attention to detail and ensuring compliance with established performance metrics.Main Responsibilities:Coordinate transportation and customs clearance of goods from country of origin to warehouse facilities.Manage inbound and outbound operations of 3PL, ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders.Allocate stock to orders for wholesale distribution based on priorities and delivery windows.Forecast sales and communicate with sales teams regarding any potential delivery delays.Establish and monitor SLAs and ensure compliance with established performance metrics.Provide world-class customer service to clients, promptly addressing any inquiries or concerns.Lead and mentor team responsible for executing logistics operations.Required Skills and Qualifications:Fluent in English, both spoken and written.Proven experience in operations and logistics, preferably in startup or fast-paced environment.Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Leadership experience, inspiring and motivating team towards achieving common goals.Understanding of import/export regulations and customs procedures.Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
