Job DescriptionAs a highly skilled Propulsion System Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of propulsion system communication files (CAN, LDF).Your expertise will be essential in supporting root cause analysis, problem resolution, and the administration of our Propulsion Networking Process.Develop and maintain propulsion system communication files (CAN, LDF) in accordance with project requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.Support root cause analysis and problem resolution related to propulsion network communication, working closely with engineering counterparts to resolve complex issues.Administer and improve the Propulsion Networking Process, identifying areas for optimization and implementing process improvements.Manage document releases, ensuring alignment with project milestones and maintaining accurate documentation.Ensure conformity and quality in file generation processes, adhering to industry standards and best practices.Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:A Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics, Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related Engineering field from an ABET accredited university.5-8 years of experience with Controller Area Network (CAN)/LIN communication systems development and standards.Experience with Propulsion System communication architectures and controllers.Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Notepad ++, and PowerPoint.Highly motivated/self-starter with proven leadership skills, able to work effectively in a team environment.Trained in Agile Methodology.Strong verbal/written communication skills.Good understanding of CAN/LIN interfaces.BenefitsThis role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and develop your skills in propulsion system communication.You will have the chance to:Work closely with experienced engineers and technical leads.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.Contribute to the development of new technologies and innovative solutions.Enhance your skills and knowledge through training and professional development opportunities.OthersYou will also have access to:MATLAB/SIMULINK/STATEFLOW software tools.Vector CANalyzer, CANoe, and IBM Rational DOORS software.Decent knowledge of CAN/LIN protocols.
