We are looking for anAWS-focused DevOps Engineerto join our engineering team.
You'll play a key role in designing and maintaining secure, scalable, and compliant infrastructure to support mission-critical applications.
This is aflexible rolethat can be structured asfull-time or part-timedepending on needs.
What You'll DoInfrastructure as Code:Build and maintain AWS infrastructure usingTerraformorCloudFormation.
CI/CD Pipelines:Own and optimize deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, Jenkins, or similar).
Containerization & Orchestration:Manage and scale workloads withECS/FargateorEKS (Kubernetes).
Networking & Security:Configure VPCs, subnets, security groups, IAM roles, and enforce least-privilege access.
Compliance & Monitoring:Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting across AWS services (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, etc.) with compliance-grade rigor.
Scalability & Performance:Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and auto-scaling strategies.
Collaboration:Work closely with Bolt engineers and client teams to ensure deployments are seamless and infrastructure supports rapid iteration.
Cost Optimization:Track and manage AWS costs, implement budgets and alerts, and recommend efficiencies.

Must-Haves3+ yearsprofessional experience withAWSin production environments.
Strong expertise withTerraformorCloudFormation.
Experience withECS/EKS, containerization, and Kubernetes best practices.
Hands-on withCI/CD(GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
Deep knowledge ofVPC networking, IAM roles, and AWS security best practices.
Monitoring/logging setup on AWS (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, Datadog, etc.).
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Nice-to-HavesPriorFinTech industryexperience
Familiarity with secrets management (AWS Secrets Manager, HashiCorp Vault).
Knowledge of RDS, DynamoDB, S3 lifecycle policies, KMS encryption.
Experience with Infrastructure cost optimization and FinOps.
Background in automation/scripting (Python, Bash, Go).
