Senior Software Engineering Manager

Job OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Software Engineering Manager to help lead our game development team and contribute to the success of Project Kingpin.About the RoleDevelop architectural proposals and guide the vision for engine systems, ensuring they meet desired functionality and performance standards.Propose tools or technologies that could enhance the ability to deliver great engine systems support.Own and drive engine topics and subsequent decision making.Implement solutions to the challenges of performance and scale.Oversee code reviews, workflows, and best practices.Identify technical risks and propose solutions.Stay up-to-date on game dev tools and industry trends.Collaborate closely with design, art, and production teams to integrate features.Lead and mentor a team of developers (Unity/C# focus).Cultivate the team culture in line with company values and goals.Requirements and Qualifications6+ years of professional game development experience, with 1+ year of leadership/mentorship role.Strong proficiency with Unity and C#.Extensive knowledge and experience in one or more engine related focus areas, including but not limited to: rendering, tools, physics, asset/build pipeline.System architecture skills.Ability to debug and optimize code.Solid understanding of performance optimization, memory management, and debugging.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-discipline.Self-motivated, strong work ethic, and able to work independently.Drive towards professional growth.Fluent in English for daily communication.
