Android Engineer Job DescriptionAbout the PositionWe are seeking a skilled Android Engineer to lead the development of innovative mobile applications with a focus on cross-platform initiatives using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) and Jetpack Compose.Experience with iOS development is a strong plus as you'll help shape our cross-platform architecture and deliver products that seamlessly operate across Android and iOS ecosystems.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications leveraging KMP for shared business logic and Compose for modern UI design.Collaborate on cross-platform initiatives contributing to both Android and iOS codebases when necessary.Analyze and optimize high-volume mobile systems for performance and scalability.Refactor and revitalize codebases as technology evolves.Lead development efforts for new products and enhancements to existing products in response to market changes.Troubleshoot and resolve system failures ensuring high-quality user experiences.Required Skills and Qualifications:5+ years of experience in Android development with proficiency in Kotlin.Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android architecture (MVVM Clean Architecture).Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) or other cross-platform frameworks.Exposure to or experience with iOS development (Swift or Objective-C) is a strong plus.Strong architecture design skills and ability to build reusable UI components.Comfortable working on collaborative fast-paced engineering teams.Excellent communication problem-solving and time management skills.Benefits and Expectations:Competitive compensation package including salary and benefits.Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.A dynamic and supportive work environment.You Are a Good Fit if You:Are passionate about Android development and want to make a difference.Enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.Have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results under pressure.
