About the Opportunity We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to support the transition of a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) backend system from a Proof of Concept (PoC) to a scalable, production-ready platform.This role will focus on building, configuring, and deploying a serverless architecture leveraging AWS Bedrock, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS PostgreSQL, and other managed services.You will collaborate closely with RedTeam's existing .NET backend team to integrate a new Backend RAG API Service, enabling semantic search on construction specification documents through existing frontend applications.ResponsibilitiesExecute curated deployment scripts using the AWS SDK.Provision the full serverless architecture: API Gateway, Lambda, RDS (PostgreSQL), VPC components, and Bedrock Knowledge Base.Deploy and configure RESTful API endpoints for chat query orchestration.Ensure correct integration with the customer's .NET API, where authentication / authorization is handled (no native AWS auth).Deploy the API Orchestrator Lambda and the Ingestion & KB Sync Lambda functions.Ensure Lambdas run inside the VPC and can be invoked by the customer's .NET backend.Configure VPC networking, subnets, and access control for RDS connections.Implement pragmatic least-privilege IAM policies for all components.Configure Amazon S3 as the corpus data source for the AWS Bedrock Knowledge Base.Enable automatic synchronization between the S3 bucket and the Knowledge Base.Deploy and configure the Amazon RDS PostgreSQL instance for chat history and conversation memory.Execute necessary DDL changes and schema configuration.Configure CloudWatch logs and alarms for monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational health.Required QualificationsStrong hands-on experience with AWS Serverless Architecture (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB or RDS).Experience provisioning AWS environments using AWS SDK, IaC scripts, or automated deployment pipelines.Proficiency with VPC networking, IAM security policies, and integrating private Lambdas with RDS.Knowledge of RDS (PostgreSQL) administration and schema deployment.Experience with CloudWatch for logging, metrics, and alarm configuration.Ability to integrate backend services with external APIs, especially .NET-based systems.Nice to Have SkillsExperience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.Familiarity with AWS Bedrock, Bedrock Knowledge Base, and generative AI workloads.Working knowledge of semantic search, embeddings, or vector-based search systems.Experience with .NET backend integration or hybrid cloud / backend environments.Exposure to infra-as-code tools (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform).Background in serverless best practices, scalability, and production hardening.Avenue Code reinforces its commitment to privacy and to all the principles guaranteed by the most accurate global data protection laws, such as GDPR, LGPD, CCPA and CPRA.The Candidate data shared with Avenue Code will be kept confidential and will not be transmitted to disinterested third parties, nor will it be used for purposes other than the application for open positions.As a Consultancy company, Avenue Code may share your information with its clients and other Companies from the CompassUol Group to which Avenue Code's consultants are allocated to perform its services.#J-*****-Ljbffr
