Job Opportunity: High-Performance Cloud DeveloperWe are seeking a highly skilled cloud developer to support and develop new tools and processes for an on-prem private cloud application.Your role will involve communicating technical concepts clearly, facilitating discussions, collaborating with stakeholders, providing project updates, and mentoring team members.Key Responsibilities:Develop high-performance cloud and container technologies using Python as the primary programming language;Deliver high-quality solutions and code that meet strict standards;Develop unit tests to improve the software development life cycle (SDLC);Investigate and resolve issues reported during testing and customer integration;Participate actively in all aspects of agile software development processes;Work as part of a team focused on containerization, virtualization, and fault-tolerant/carer-grade development;Contribute to a highly available orchestration platform used to deploy private cloud platforms aimed at 5G and distributed edge deployments worldwide.Essential Skills and Qualifications:Solid backend development skills, preferably but not restricted to Python, with knowledge of Linux essentials;Moderate understanding of hardware, processes, programs, and components of the Linux Operating System;Proficiency in working on the command line and with files;Able to create and restore compressed backups and archives;Knowledge of system security, including users/groups and file permissions for public and private directories;Able to create and run simple scripts;Interested in developing and troubleshooting highly distributed orchestration platforms supporting multiple vendors;Strong computer networking knowledge and transport layers (TCP/UDP/etc.);Familiarity with cloud computing concepts;Experience collaborating effectively across remote teams and time zones, and collaborating with senior technical leaders;Experience with GIT, Jira, Gitlab, and code review tools;Experience with container technologies (e.g., Docker, Linux Containers, etc.);Experience with Kubernetes Cluster Administration (designing infrastructure involving one or more Kubernetes clusters, configuring, controlling, and monitoring Kubernetes clusters);Experience with Docker;Experience with Helm.Highly Desirable Skills:Experience with Kubernetes App Development (designing and developing applications running in Kubernetes clusters);Experience with PostgreSQL as a developer;Experience with RabbitMQ as a developer.About UsWe are a leading digital engineering and modernization partner for top enterprises and digital native companies.With over 9,000 experts in 47+ offices and innovation labs worldwide, our technology practices include Product Engineering & Development, Cloud Services, Quality Engineering, DevSecOps, Data & Analytics, Digital Experience, Cybersecurity, and AI & LLM Engineering.We hire professionals based solely on their skills and qualifications, without any discrimination.
