Business Analytics Manager – Project ExecutionLocation: Votorantim, BrazilFunction: Project Execution / PMO / Customer DeliveryReports to: Marcelo PratesRole purposeThe Business Analytics Manager will establish a reliable and standardized analytics framework that captures project execution data and translates it into project and financial KPIs.This role supports leadership decision-making by improving visibility into schedule performance, margin, revenue, cash flow, and forecast accuracy, while reducing manual reporting effort and data inconsistencies.The position acts as a key interface between Project Execution, Finance, and Leadership, ensuring data integrity, consistent KPI definitions, and actionable insights across the project portfolio.Key objectivesCreate a single source of truth for project execution and financial KPIsStandardize KPI definitions and reporting across regionsImprove forecasting accuracy and early identification of project risksEnable leadership with clear, timely, and actionable performance insightsReduce manual reporting effort and execution inefficienciesKey responsibilitiesDefine, standardize, and monitor internal KPIs for project execution and financial performanceIdentify and document data sources, ownership, and update cadence across projects and regionsDevelop and maintain dashboards and recurring reporting packages (bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly)Implement early warning indicators to proactively identify schedule, cost, margin, revenue, and cash risksSupport forecasting activities, including Estimate at Completion (EAC) and variance explanationsPerform root cause analysis on performance deviations and recommend corrective actionsProvide clear, structured insights to leadership to support decision-makingTrain and support Project Managers on KPI interpretation, reporting discipline, and consistent data updatesCollaborate closely with Project Execution, Finance, and PMO teams to drive performance improvementRequired skills and experienceExperience in project execution analytics and data analysisStrong understanding of project controlling and financial conceptsProficiency in Business Intelligence tools, advanced Excel, and SQLAbility to analyze complex data sets and translate them into actionable insightsStrong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholdersLeadership mindset with a structured and analytical problem-solving approachSuccess measuresConsistent and reliable KPI reporting across all regions and projectsImproved forecast accuracy and earlier identification of project risksReduction in manual reporting effort and data errorsIncreased leadership confidence in project execution and financial dataMeasurable improvements in margin, on-time delivery, revenue, and cash predictabilityFLSmidth is the leading supplier of engineering, equipment and service solutions to customers in the mining industries – for more information please visit FLSmidth.com/careers#J-*****-Ljbffr
