Senior AccountantAccounting Part-time, Contract (approx. 20 hours per week)Location: RemoteWHAT IF...You could help an entire industry become more efficient with technology?At PickTrace, we are digitizing the agriculture industry in a big way, and that's why we are looking for an Implementations Specialist to join our Implementations team.We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager to join our team on a part-time basis (approximately 20 hours per week).The ideal candidate will be experienced in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Excel, and all core aspects of monthly accounting close processes.This role will report directly to the Controller.This role will be fully remote.WHAT WILL YOU DOWeeklyManage the full Accounts Receivable (AR) cycle:Receive and process client agreementsGenerate and send ***** invoices weeklyMaintain AR schedule and support collections (handle complex invoicing schedules)Oversee the full Accounts Payable (AP) cycle:Receive and process vendor billsRoute invoices for approvalDispute or follow up on payments when necessary (Bill.com experience preferred)Perform weekly bank reconciliationsAssist with credit card and expense report reconciliation (15 corporate cards, 2 bank accounts)Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Internal Operations, and other teams as neededMonthlyExecute a timely and accurate month-end close (by the 18th of each month), including:Bank reconciliationsPrepaid expense schedulesAccruals and deferralsDepreciation and amortization schedulesExpense reclassificationsIdentification and analysis of revenue leakageAssist with the preparation of monthly financial statementsWHO WE ARE LOOKING FORProficient in English (written and verbal)Proven experience in accounting and month-end close processesStrong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and ExcelFamiliarity with Bill.com is a plusExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and communicate effectively across teamsWORK SCHEDULEApproximately 20 hours per weekAvailability required 3 times per week between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM Pacific Time during the initial ramp-up periodPost ramp-up: availability 1–2 times per week during the same hours
