Senior Data EngineerOur company seeks a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to design and implement data architectures on GCP, leveraging services like BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Composer, and more.We need you to develop and optimize scalable, high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines.Data quality, integrity, and security are your top priorities throughout the data lifecycle.You'll create and maintain data models aligned with business needs, ensuring seamless integration with analytics and machine learning use cases.Key Responsibilities:Expertise in BigQuery, Dataflow (Apache Beam), Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub is required.Familiarity with SQL, Oracle Database, and PostgreSQL is essential.Knowledge of orchestration using Cloud Composer (Airflow) is necessary.Familiarity with CI/CD applied to data pipelines using Git and Terraform is required.Experience with cloud cost and performance optimization is vital.GCP certifications are desirable.Familiarity with Kubernetes (GKE) and APIs on GCP is beneficial.Hands-on experience with Machine Learning pipelines using Vertex AI and AI Platform is preferred.Previous involvement with Data Mesh and distributed architectures is advantageous.Understanding of Data Lake layers is necessary.Familiarity with batch and streaming processing is required.
