ABOUT HAPPY MONEYHappy Money is a leading consumer finance company dedicated to helping people achieve their goals through responsible lending.Through its fully-digital platform, Happy Money partners with credit unions, banks and asset managers to originate high-quality credit solutions, diversify their portfolios and expand their impact and reach nationwide.Backed by investors like TruStage Ventures, Happy Money enables financial institutions to grow as a force for good in their communities while helping people use money as a tool for their happiness.Together with their community-focused capital partner network, Happy Money has originated over $6 billion in loans representing more than 300,000 members who have taken greater control of their financial futures.Learn more at happymoney.com.ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Senior Lead Analyst in the Pricing & Conversion team at Happy Money, you will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and optimizing our application conversion and pricing strategy.Sitting within the Risk and Analytics team, you will own analytics and strategy changes, periodic reporting, and initiatives that enhance our funnel conversion and optimize leads.You will work cross-functionally with Credit Operations, Product, and Engineering to drive proactive, data-driven strategies that support responsible growth for Happy Money and our lending partners.RESPONSIBILITIESConversion:Optimize our conversion rate by continuously streamlining our origination process and improving user experience.Lead efforts to improve automation opportunities while balancing risk and customer experience.Manage and optimize existing strategies effectively by designing A/B tests to understand the right risk-return balance.Identify and evaluate new vendors / data sources and create business cases and present them to senior management.Conduct ad-hoc analysis related to risk management, product, and operations.Pricing:Develop and implement credit strategies leveraging data, machine learning models and advanced analytics tools to mitigate losses and maintain excellent customer experience.Continue to innovate by testing new data, analytical approaches and models.Monitor and analyze portfolio performance at a granular segment level on an ongoing basis.Identify trends and conduct root-cause analysis to isolate key performance drivers.Communicate findings and recommendations to the Risk Management and broader Happy Money community in a clear and concise manner.ABOUT YOU5+ years of experience managing credit risk strategies.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or Economics.Strong proficiency with Python & SQL and the ability to analyze large, complex datasets and derive actionable insights.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with deep experience working in Originations strategies and/or processes.Experience with credit orchestration and decisioning tools (e.g., Oscilar, LoanPro, Strata, Zoot, ACAPS) preferred.BENEFITS & PERKSGenerous medical, dental, and vision insurance optionsEligible for Annual Bonus401k Plan with a matching contributionFlexible PTOMonthly Health and Wellness Days12 Weeks Paid Parental LeaveCompany-paid short & long term disability and life insuranceMonthly tech stipend to help cover expenses for remote workHappy Money is a 100% fully distributed workforceBase Salary Range$165,000-$180,000 USD#J-*****-Ljbffr
