Hi all,??New Contract Opportunity – IT Support Engineer at Jundiai, Brazil??Job Title: ITSupport EngineerLocation:Canoas, Jundiai - BRAZILOnsite WorkFull TimeJob Overview:(2 to 5 yrs Experience )We are seeking anOnsite IT Support Engineerto provide hands-on technical support, network troubleshooting, and data center assistance at our Jundiai site. The ideal candidate will have strong fundamentals in networking, server management, and IT infrastructure operations within an SLA-driven environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide onsite IT support, includingnetwork and hardware troubleshooting.Work withnetwork devicessuch as switches, routers, and wireless access points (preferably Cisco, Riverbed).Assignswitch ports to VLANsand patch phone ports as needed.TroubleshootAvaya VoIP phonesand perform basic configurations.Diagnose and coordinate resolution forfiber link issuesand switch chassis replacements.Perform regular IDF room checks (minimum twice weekly) forcooling, UPS alarms, and PDU health.Supportdata center and network administratorsduring technical troubleshooting.Monitor systems using tools likeSolarWinds,Control-M, andEMC Avamar/Data Domain.Manage and maintainservers, storage devices, and performperformance monitoring.UtilizeITSM tools(preferably ServiceNow) for incident and service management.Ensure compliance withSLA-based support requirements.Required Knowledge & Skills:Networking fundamentals (Switches, Routers, VLANs).Operating Systems:Windows Server, UNIX, Linux.Basic understanding ofActive Directory, MS Exchange, and File/Print Servers.Familiarity withbackup technologies(EMC Avamar preferred).Experience withmonitoring tools(SolarWinds or similar).Strong analytical and communication skills.Hands-on experience indata center or infrastructure environmentsis a plus.Why Apply?This is a fantastic chance to work on ahigh-profile project in Jundiai.
