Propulsion Systems Assistant Product Quality Engineer

Hybrid: This position requires you to work on-site 3 times a week (Tue to Thu)This Assistant Program Quality Engineer position will be responsible for the Product Development Quality & Continuous Improvement activities for Propulsion Systems.RolesVoice of Quality to regional and global program execution teams, Powertrain Architecture Process Integration Review (PET/PAPIR) and lead continuous improvement process of these products (CPIP).Assess and ensure that all quality targets and program deliverables are being met and driving customer satisfaction.Escalate to leadership when assistance is needed.Support global launch processes as per the Global Vehicle Development Process (GVDP).Digital Transformation & AI Integration: Champion initiatives that leverage AI, analytics, and digital tools to enhance plant efficiency, real-time quality monitoring, and data-driven decision-making.Support innovation projects as required to support Strategic initiativesResponsibilitiesProduct Development QualityPropose, develop and execute quality initiatives that will ensure customer satisfaction of Propulsion Systems.Execute the Global Program Quality Plan Process (GPQP), including program reviews, product and competitor's assessment, quality audits and rides, among others.Work in synergy with key stakeholders, like Service, Quality Plant, ME, Product Engineering, etcPlan, implement, and execute the quality fleet evaluation process (CTF)Participate and support Launch Team activities to ensure program quality business plans, metrics, and program quality readiness deliverables are being addressed.Lead and provide quality input to design change process based on the review cadence, including customer requirements, lessons learned, Warranty, Voice of the Customer, and vehicle audits.Support Launch Excellence initiatives.Current Product Improvement Process (CPIP)Track propulsion quality performance (Warranty, Compass, QFS, QAS, Consumer Report, Reliability & Durability, Buybacks, NPS, W&P etc)Closely monitor propulsion source metrics (Warranty, Compass, Buybacks, etc) to identify emerging issues that can impact sales regionWork proactively to address at yard any identified emerging issuesConduct technical Data Analysis & Reporting.Develop, drive, and track along actions to improve Warranty, Compass and Customer ExperienceLook for process improvement opportunities and work to implement themSupport initiatives to improve Customer Experience.Competencies:Ethics & Values, Creative Solutioning (innovation), Leadership, Autonomy, Content creation, Public Presentation, Leading with Influence, Relationship Management, Customer Focus, Results Focused, Dealing with Ambiguity, Composure, Quality Orientation, Managerial Courage, Persistence, Organizational Agility, Problem SolvingYour Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):Bachelor degree completed in EngineeringAdvanced or Fluent EnglishKnowledge and/or experience with digital tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, and AI technologies to support and sustain the Quality of the Future visionAvailability to travelSkills:Strong written, oral and presentation skillsWorking effectively with multifunctional teams (other functions, regions, and cultures)Administrative and organizational skillsWorkload managementStrong problem-solving capabilities with a proven ability to synthesize and manage information across diverse teams.Strong analytical skillsYour Skills & Abilities (Desired Qualifications):Knowledge of automotive industryPropulsion Systems experienceKnowledge of product, market trends, quality, manufacturing, product development processProduct Engineering, Services, Manufacturing Engineering and/or QualityFor better visualization of the job description, we recommend using your Workday in English.#J-*****-Ljbffr
