responsible for leading and developing the Electrical & Automation Field Service Team in accordance with the strategy, action plan and business needs.This position reports to the Field Service Resources Manager.Wärtsilä Brazil has implemented a hybrid work model.Most employees who live within 65 kilometres of an office will work 6 days per month in office.This model will provide our employees the flexibility of working from home, while also providing the benefits of in-person collaboration.We will be happy to provide more information during your interview process.Wärtsilä, a SMART technology company, is seeking the ideal candidate to join our fast- paced, high performance Field Service Operations coordination team (AMER).Candidates are expected to display a high level of critical thinking and reasoning skills, identify as high performers, as well as being self-motivating.Duties and Responsibilities:Implement and review processes and procedures related to the area and other related areas, complying with and enforcing corporate policies, rules and guidelines, aiming to improve the internal demands of the area.Contribute to the annual budget of the area, generate a technical training plan for the area, considering the available resources, aiming at meeting the company's business strategy, performance indicators, increasing the team's technical quality, controlling the efficiency and utilization of trainings.Evaluate the E/A Field Service demand during the year and define appropriate actions (including recruiting).Attend internal and external services request, planning, evaluating services request, ensuring the best utilization rate and complying with customers' needs.Development of your team competencies as required to address current and future needs.Ensure that the team is utilized effectively, having the right people in the right place at the right time.Foster strategic relationships with institutes of leaning to attract and develop talent.Manage and maintain internal and external relationships, focused on achieving company targets.Facilitate good collaboration with key stakeholders throughout the delivery chain (Sales, Lifecycle Support, Agreements, Technical Service).Contribute to the annual budget preparation and service forecast evaluations.Set the individual performance and development targets of your team and have development discussions with goal setting, following a global procedure based on performance indicators, strategic development plan and continuous improvement techniques.Manage and approve travel expenses created by your designated team using My Travel tool, complying with and enforcing corporate policies, rules and guidelines.Main Requirements:Bachelor's degree in engineering, or technical university or equivalent work experience in a technical service-minded organization is desired.Job-related experience with a technical degree and/or bachelor's degree, and some project management experience or training is required.Service management skills and/or experience with coordinating service teams is desirable.Experience within a Mechanical/Maritime environment organization with an international scope is seen as an advantage.Understanding of the Field Service process.English language proficiency (Spanish considered as plus).Be proficient with process tools such as SalesForce
