In this role, you will be actively involved in the origination, trading, and distribution of sugar, working closely with our international teams in Singapore and the Netherlands.
A core part of your responsibilities will be to coordinate various reporting, financial, and operational matters, contributing to the smooth execution of trade flows.The ideal candidate is self-driven and results-oriented, with a strong ability to evaluate risks and implement practical solutions.
You should have a genuine interest in international trade and agricultural markets, be customer-focused with strong networking and relationship-building skills, and demonstrate solid analytical thinking and negotiation capabilities.We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, and a humble, hands-on, and curious mindset.
You should bring a balance of being a team player and an independent thinker, with a meticulous and proactive approach to daily tasks.

Most importantly, you will be joining a dedicated, entrepreneurial, and collaborative team where initiative and a strong sense of ownership are valued and encouraged.ResponsibilitiesMake daily commercial decisions aligned with the company's trading strategyAssist senior traders with business origination activities in Brazil and Central AmericaMaintain close communication with global teams in the Netherlands and Singapore for seamless commercial and operational information flowSupport and provide daily reports on futures hedging activities on the NY and London exchangesExecute and monitor FX hedging operations using NDF contracts when necessaryOversee provisional price payments, ensuring accurate reconciliation with trade control and managementConduct cold calls and prospecting to identify new clients and suppliers, building long-term profitable relationshipsSell sugar to an assigned portfolio of clients/regions while ensuring profitability and adequate marginsMonitor and report customer risk exposure and position managementCoordinate with counterparties to confirm contract terms, verify payments, handle claims, and manage invoicing and tax documentationPrepare export memos and support related documentation requirements if necessaryMaintain and update commercial cash flow reports, enter payments into the system, and prepare payment requestsProvide backup support to the logistics team for export procedures when neededManage documentation workflows, including obtaining approvals, handling signatures, filing, courier dispatches, and preparing reports for internal and international stakeholdersRequirementsBachelor's degree level, preferably in International Business, Economics, or Supply Chain1+ relevant working experienceBackground in analytical commodities is preferredProven skills in value creation/margin developmentFluent in English, both written and spokenExperience with Microsoft ExcelWe offerAn entrepreneurial and international environment where developing opportunities for growth is valuedTraining opportunities, locally and globallyHealth insuranceMeal support (vale refeição)Transport support/Parking lot (Vale transporte ou vaga de estacionamento)Please note that we may incorporate an assessment and reference checks in our selection procedures.
