Senior Quality ManagerDepartment: Brazil ConsultancyEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: Campinas, BrazilReporting To: Callum AgnewDescriptionWhy Soben?We're an award-winning construction consultancy with huge ambitions to put ourselves firmly on the map.We've come a long way since operations commenced in **** but now is the time to realise our true potential.It is a hugely exciting time to join our business and we have some amazing times ahead of us.We're targeting to have **** people globally by **** to support our expansion plans in current locations as well as additional territories.If you want to play an integral part in achieving our ambitious plans for growth and delivering an exceptional consultancy service for our clients in the EMEA region, whilst progressing your own career in a supportive and dynamic environment, we want to hear from youRole DescriptionWe are searching for a project manager who will be in charge of delivering significant projects that are highly important to our customer.You will make strategic and technical choices on the project schedule, budget, and resource requirements, and you'll lead with an eye toward delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesProgrammatically managing the department's requirements for science initiativesProject management experience but would also consider strong commercial managers with demonstrable management skills.Stakeholder management experience (design team, contractor, client, other specialist input)Collaborating with the technical manager and unit heads to ensure efficient distribution of technical resources among the various programmes.Overseeing efficient team communication, supporting the sponsor in meetings with stakeholders, and setting project milestones and deliverables.Monitoring and reporting on programme performance, in particular planning, budgeting, and monitoring, as well as the overall execution of the strategy.Ensuring the removal of barriers to the execution of a strategy and organising the discovery and use of innovative solutions to these barriers.Creating a business case and project management plan in collaboration with the project sponsors to outline the execution of the projects within their respective programmesAbility to travel as and where necessary across the UKPerform additional duties as assignedPreferred Qualification / Relevant ExperienceProject manager with experience and a background in engineeringDelivering complex technical projects on schedule, on budget, and with success in the pastA commitment to making sure that optimum project management methods are used and that a culture of effective delivery is createdGood commercial awareness and the ability to make wise financial decisions that maximise project value.A proactive approach to safety with a good understanding of UK compliance needs in designExcellent influencing and teamwork abilitiesKnowledge of contemporary standards in the fields of quality assurance and safety, health, and the environmentKnowledge of change management and document control systemsDesirable standards and qualificationsA solid understanding of fusion science and a project management qualification, or progress toward Chartered status in a relevant STEM discipline#J-*****-Ljbffr
