We take a commercial and wholistic approach to the legal and business needs of our clients.ResponsibilitiesCreate invoices, credit memos and statements of accounts for clientsSubmit client invoices to partners for review and approvalWork closely with attorneys and the finance team to resolve invoicing discrepancies and ensure efficient and transparent communicationRecord approved invoices and credit memos in the subledgerSend client invoices out via email and client portal uploadingReview client accounts and send payment reminders on all past-due invoicesRespond to client inquiries via email and phone in a timely mannerConduct regular reviews of invoices and billing data to ensure consistent accuracy and integrity of financial recordsQualificationsProven experience in accounts receivable or billing; experience in a legal or professional services environment is a plusIntermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysisPrior experience with accounting systems is a plusExceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectivelyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independentlyConfident to speak directly to members of the team (lawyers and EAs) to resolve any issuesAbility to work occasional weekend hours a plusSeniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeContractJob functionAccounting/Auditing and FinanceIndustries: Law Practice
