Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to support the development of personalized search capabilities and data assimilation initiatives within the organization.This is a remote role aligned to the EST time zone.The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with Python, databricks, and Kafka, and will contribute directly to ongoing data modernization efforts.While the work is not tied to life-critical systems, it is essential for advancing our long-term data strategy.Key Responsibilities:- Support FY26 initiatives focused on data-driven and personalized search experiences.- Enhance current search and relevance models, which are presently generic and not tailored to individual users.- Perform data assimilation related to athlete journey insights and integrate this information into downstream applications.- Build and optimize data pipelines in collaboration with the broader Data Engineering team.- Compile, transform, and prepare data for use across multiple business and technical functions.Required Technical Skills:- Strong hands-on experience with:o Pythono Databricks (minimum 2-3 years required)o Kafka- Solid understanding of data engineering best practices and pipeline development.Experience Requirements:- 5+ years of overall experience in data engineering or related fields.- Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines.- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in cross-functional technical team.
