Pennoni is currently seeking full-time and part-time AWS Certified Welding Inspectors for off-site fabrication shops in the MidAtlantic area that produce bridge and highway products for transportation agencies – we work regionally AND nationally
Required Experience Is Consistent With, But Not Limited ToInspection of welding, steel fabrication, coatings, expansion joints, bridge bearings, sign structures, bridge beams, drainage structures, and other materialsMonitoring work for compliance with approved shop drawings, standards, and specificationsCommunicating and meeting with fabricators, clients, and engineersProduction of daily written shop reportsRequired AttributesMinimum Education: High SchoolMinimum years of experience: 3AWS Certified Welding InspectorComputer Skills: Microsoft windows and Microsoft Office applicationsStrong verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to work well independently and with othersNeed reliable transportationPreferred AttributesExperience performing QA/QC of bridge fabrication.Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) certifications (e.g.: UT, MT, PT).
Experience performing QA/QC of bridge and highway structures fabrication.AWS D1.1/D1.5 Experience.Coating Inspection experience.Why Work With Us?
