Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Database Infrastructure Specialist to lead the design and optimization of our global multi-cloud data infrastructure.As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for architecting scalable, fault-tolerant, high-performance data pipelines using AWS Glue, Step Functions, Lambda, Azure Data Factory, and Python.You will design and implement global data infrastructure optimizing for latency, availability, compliance with international data standards.Responsibilities include owning and evolving core databases and warehouses architecture, leading data migrations between cloud platforms, legacy systems, and global regions.Key skills include defining indexing, query optimization, partitioning, sharding strategies for high-throughput and low-latency workloads.Champion observability implementing monitoring, alerting, dashboards via CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog or similar tools.Orchestrate transformations using DBT or Coalesce maintaining data lineage, validation, governance across workflows.Collaborate cross-functionally delivering data solutions secure, reliable, cost-efficient.Mentor engineers in database performance, automation, data reliability best practices.Drive automation, operational excellence through CLI tools, APIs, infrastructure-as-code Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, CI/CD pipelines.Ensure data quality, compliance implementing validation frameworks, automated testing, consistent documentation.Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.6+ years of experience working as Data Engineer, Database Engineer or Cloud Data Architect.Proven AWS hands-on expertise, especially with Glue, Step Functions and Lambda.Strong Python, SQL skills for workflow development and optimization.Experience designing, maintaining data pipelines ETL/ELT.Proven data migration experience cross-cloud or hybrid minimal downtime.Hands-on with data orchestration tools e.g. Glue, Step Functions.Solid experience with at least two database systems among Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB.Experience with monitoring observability tools CloudWatch, Azure Monitor or Datadog.Excellent communication collaboration skills with technical non-technical teams.Benefits:Competitive USD salary100% remote workPaid time offNational holidaysSick leaveRefundable annual creditTeam-building activities Birthday day off
