An opportunity has become available for an experienced mixed practice vet, ideally with a dairy focus, to join a phenomenal team.Their only requirement is a healthy bit of team spirit and a love of a beverage and French onion dip on a Thursday after workThe practice has a great culture and a focus on work life balance.Vets work a 9 day fortnight with the roster magically worked so they get at least one long weekend every 6 weeks.The clinic is new and well designed, with designated small and large animal areas.It has all the usual bells and whistles inclduing: BCF curvilinear scanner, bull testing gear, on-site cattle crush under light and undercover, portable x-ray and blood gas machine, in house IDEXX, mastitis and MUC testing.The practice has a great client base with many farms still family run.Support and back up available during the busy period and for those tricky cases.Leadership opportunities available for the right person.There is also the opportunity to engage in local business network meetings as well as DA run programs such as Health Hooves etc.**Salary**: upwards of $120,000 for a vet with a minimum of 8-10 years' experience and with a vision to further develop the dairy services.You will be provided with a fully equipped work vehicle.AVA membership, VSB registration plus subscription to VIN, Plumbs and other online libraries paid for.Continuing education is strongly encouraged and supported.The practice is located in a large rural centre in the middle of a rich irrigation district.It offers a wide range of sporting and social activities.The Murray River and all its attractions are just a short drive away.
