Python Software Developer OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled Python developer to join our team of experts in the food and agricultural industry.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and enhancing APIs and data-driven applications using Python and related technologies.This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Your expertise in Python, Django/DRF or Flask, SQL, and NoSQL databases will be invaluable in this position.Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:Developing and refactoring software features for customer-facing SaaS applications and APIsApplying Python and SQL to efficiently manage and transform large datasetsCollaborating daily with data scientists, product owners, API developers, architects, and DevOps engineersMentoring junior and senior developers, sharing best practices and expertiseRequired Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:5+ years' experience in Python application development, preferably with strong Django/DRF or Flask expertiseDeep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databasesExperience with Redis and background workers (Celery/RQ)Strong communication skills and ability to discuss previous projectsTeam-oriented mindset with excellent collaboration and mentoring skillsKnowledge of object-oriented patterns and how they apply in Python application developmentExcellent troubleshooting skills and instinctsSelf-motivated, comfortable working within an Agile software development teamMust be bilingual in English and PortuguesePreferred QualificationsThe following qualifications are highly desirable:Angular experience for frontend developmentExperience with containerization using DockerExposure to Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code toolingProficient in Azure DevOps for source code and build pipeline managementExperience handling big datasets with Python packages like Pandas, NumPy, PyArrow, etc.Basic Linux environment knowledgeAWS knowledge (ECS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch)BenefitsThis role offers a unique opportunity to work with a leading organization in the food and agricultural industry.
