Treasury Trader in the Execution team, overlooking: liquidity management, collateral management and government bonds portfolio, management/hedging of interest and fx risk within the banking books, and execution of the funding and capital strategies defined within the desk and per local ALCO's mandate.
**Main responsibilities**:
Treasury Trader, as part of the Execution team, is responsible for the following five main activity types:
- Liquidity Management: centralizing and managing the bank's short
- and long-term liquidity positions/mismatches, thereby ensuring regulatory and internal liquidity requirements are met, while minimizing the cost of warehousing liquidity.
Provide funding and answer questions in accordance with the Funding Transfer Price (FTP) policy on funding to commercial areas.
Prepare FTP tables to be communicated and distributed to the business lines, as agreed and approved by ALCO;
- Government Bonds portfolio management: minimizing the cost of warehousing liquidity within the local Government Bonds portfolio;
- Collateral Management aims to achieve the most efficient use of the bonds portfolio, processing the day-to-day collateral margin calls and managing the risks that result from (under) collateralization;
- Interest Rate Risk & Foreign Exchange (IRR & FX) Management: steering of interest rate and FX translation risks from the banking books;
- Funding and Capital: execution of the Funding and Capital strategies in order to meet the objectives of the funding and capital strategy and plan as per local ALCO's mandate.
**Main Requirements**:
- Finantial math
- Strong analytical skills, including financil risks related
- Spreadsheets and Programming
- Knowledge of local and international financial products (funding types, CCSs, IRSs, FX etc)
- Communication skills
- English proficiency is mandatory;
- Spanish proficiency will be considered as a plus.
