OverviewWinding Global Process Expert - Power Transformers at Hitachi Energy.Hitachi Energy is seeking an operations expert / specialist for the Transformers Business to join their team.This role supports the global power transformers portfolio, including coil winding and winding assembly, with a focus on process optimization, standardization, and knowledge transfer across global factories.Transformers BU leverages innovative technology to transform energy and deliver value across power generation, transmission, and distribution, metals and mining, oil and gas, commercial and infrastructure projects, and mobility.The role aims to be the global reference for GPG power transformers from an operational and manufacturing perspective, working as a subject matter expert across global projects.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and enhance the manufacturing platform for coil winding and winding assembly of power transformers and shunt reactors, including process digitization.Lead the global Process Owner community as Global Process Owner, driving innovation and best practices in productivity.Provide operational and technical support to global power transformer factories, including expansion and greenfield projects.Conduct training for local process engineers, ensuring standardization and knowledge sharing.Lead technology transfers and support global manufacturing process activities for transformers and shunt reactors.Implement and review production standards, and conduct operational compliance audits at factories (minimum two per year).Interact with global Engineering and R&D teams, fostering integration and innovation in processes.Prepare monthly reports on global project progress, with PFMEA experience and operational support for diverse projects.Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering preferred; advanced English required.Experience in a global manufacturing environment, preferably with MTS, MTO, and Assemble to Order production models using standardized production processes.Solid experience in managing and implementing global projects, with expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and business transformation.Practical knowledge of AC/DC transformer and shunt reactor manufacturing concepts, with over 5 years of sector experience.Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams in global environments (sales, engineering, operations).Proactive approach to global solutions and change management principles; ability to implement process improvements.Strong customer orientation and ability to deliver solutions that enhance satisfaction and loyalty.Company & BenefitsHitachi Energy is a global technology leader in electrification, powering a sustainable energy future through digital-first power grid technologies.Headquartered in Switzerland, the company employs thousands across more than 60 countries.Job DetailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Management and ManufacturingIndustries: Appliances, Electrical and Electronics Manufacturing; IT Services and IT Consulting#J-*****-Ljbffr
