About Sofia Health: Sofia Health is a fast-growing marketplace dedicated to connecting clients with wellness providers across various disciplines.Our mission is to make health and wellness services accessible and engaging for everyone.The Sofia Unfiltered podcast is our platform to highlight the journeys, insights, and expertise of health and wellness professionals, amplifying their stories to inspire and educate a broader audience.Role Overview: We're looking for a creative and organized Podcast Production Assistant to support our production team with various aspects of podcast creation.This role will be instrumental in the entire production process, from pre-production through post-production, and will also require expertise in email writing to promote episodes, coordinate with guests, and keep our audience engaged.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about storytelling, health and wellness, and digital media.Responsibilities:Assist with the day-to-day production of the Sofia Unfiltered podcast, including scheduling, script assistance, and audio/video editing supportCoordinate guest outreach, scheduling, and follow-ups to ensure a smooth guest experienceDraft show notes, guest bios, and key talking points for the hostUpload episodes, titles, descriptions, and assets to Spotify, You Tube, Apple Podcasts, and hosting platformsTrack episode releases, metrics, and guest promotion deliverablesMaintain podcast calendar and content pipelineResearch new guests that align with our mission and audienceOrganize clips for promotion or pass timestamps to our editorEnsure guest intake forms and promotional materials are receivedCoordinating with internal teams to share content and updatesAssist with research, including background on guests and trending wellness topicsSupport social media promotion of podcast episodesManage episode timelines, deadlines, and organization within our content calendarQualifications:Strong writing skills, with experience in email marketing or professional email communicationsBackground in media, communications, journalism, or related field preferredExperience with podcast production, audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Audacity), or video editing tools is a plusKnowledge of health and wellness topics and trends is a bonusExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environmentEnthusiasm for storytelling and podcasting, with a creative mindset
