About Oleve Oleve builds and manages a suite of mobile and web products that power experiences for millions of users worldwide.We combine thoughtful design, strong engineering, and data-driven iteration to create software that is fast, beautiful, and reliable.Our tech stack spans Next.js , React Native , and Python , allowing us to deliver consistent experiences across devices with shared components and a unified design system.Role & Purpose As a Design Engineer at Oleve, you'll sit at the intersection of design and front-end engineering — crafting visually stunning, high-performing, and accessible user interfaces.You'll bring our brand and products to life through motion, interactivity, and thoughtful systems that scale across our ecosystem.You'll collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to implement creative, performant solutions for both web and mobile.This role blends design thinking with technical rigor — ideal for someone who loves to code and cares deeply about visual polish and user experience.What You'll Do Partner with design, product, and engineering teams to ship world-class interfaces across Oleve's web and mobile products.Build and maintain our shared design system in React and React Native, ensuring a cohesive visual language and UX across all products.Translate complex design concepts into responsive, performant components using Next.js and React Native .Lead and contribute to front-end architecture discussions, focusing on accessibility, Core Web Vitals, and maintainability.Collaborate with backend engineers to design efficient API integrations and end-to-end user flows.Mentor other engineers on UI craft, motion design, and design systems best practices.Experiment with new technologies, animation techniques, and tools that enhance design-to-code workflows.Work closely with marketing and growth teams to deliver fast, scalable, and visually refined campaigns or landing pages.About You You have 3 + years of experience in front-end or design engineering roles, ideally within product-focused teams.You're fluent in React , Next.js , React Native , TypeScript , and have a working knowledge of Python or backend APIs.You're comfortable in Figma and can collaborate effectively with designers from concept to launch.You have an eye for detail — typography, spacing, motion, and interactivity all matter to you.You understand performance, accessibility, and SEO, and know how to balance technical trade-offs.You've worked in a multi-product environment and can build systems that scale across multiple apps.You're comfortable working with analytics (Mixpanel, Amplitude) and using data to guide design and UX decisions.You thrive in collaborative environments and can comfortably move between creative and technical conversations.
