OverviewSound Designer/Editor role at Dhar Mann Studios.Join our post-production team to elevate our narrative content through expert sound design, Foley, and final audio mixing.The ideal candidate will have strong experience in audio post-production workflows, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.What You'll DoDesign and implement a wide range of sound effects to enhance the emotional impact and realism of our narrative content, including ambiences, hard effects, and creative sound design elementsRecord and edit Foley to sync with on-screen action, capturing subtle, realistic sounds and integrating them seamlesslyClean up and edit dialogue tracks to remove background noise, improve clarity, and ensure consistency across all scenesCollaborate with the editorial team, directors, and composers to translate the creative vision into a compelling auditory experienceMixing, Mastering & WorkflowPerform final audio mixes for all projects, balancing dialogue, music, sound effects, and Foley to create a cohesive final productEnsure mixes meet broadcast loudness standards and technical specs for distribution platforms when neededConduct quality control checks on all delivered audio for proper sync, error-free delivery, and consistent qualityManage audio assets and project files, ensuring sessions are organized and accessible for revisionsTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to audio software, hardware, and file formatsReport on department metrics (e.g., mix volume, common technical challenges) to help the post-production team make informed decisionsStay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices in audio post-productionWhat You HaveExperience in a high-volume content creation environment, preferably with scripted narrative contentBachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, Music Production, Film, or a related field, or equivalent practical experienceMinimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Sound Designer, Audio Mixer, or similar role in a fast-paced production settingExpert-level proficiency with DAWs such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, or Adobe AuditionStrong understanding of audio signal flow, acoustics, and mixing techniquesProficiency with industry-standard audio plugins for EQ, compression, noise reduction, and reverbExceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detailExcellent communication skills and ability to articulate creative and technical conceptsProven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlinesA proactive problem-solver with a strong work ethicA passion for storytelling through soundExperience with advanced noise reduction software (e.g., iZotope RX)BonusExperience with spatial audio formats like Dolby AtmosA portfolio or reel showcasing your work on past projectsReports ToThe Sound Designer/Mixer will report directly to the Head of Post-production.Role TypeThis is an Individual Contributor position with no direct reports.You will work collaboratively with our post-production and creative teams.Work LocationRemote / Global / LATAM / EMEA / APACWhy You Should Join UsWork alongside industry leaders on fast-paced projects as our content expands.Learn more at: #J-*****-Ljbffr
