We aspire to be the best solution for the Industrial customers' needs for MROP products and services through our Innovative Pumping Solutions, Metal Working, Supply Chain Services and Service Centers.Check out our many videos to learn more of the Field Service Technician include, but are not limited to:Must maintain a safety awareness attitude at all timesReceive, disassemble, inspect, repair, fabricate, paint, package/prep a variety of centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, positive displacement, reciprocating and other types of pumps as well as well as other related rotating equipmentSafely load, unload, and move equipment as needed with crane or forkliftField service work – must be available for occasional weekend workQualifications of the Field Service Technician include, but are not limited to:Some experience in pump and or rotating equipment repairs as well as field service work preferred, including, but not limited to:Ability to read sectional and machine drawings; Read and comprehend Original Equipment Manufacturer manualsDisassembly, inspection, and evaluation of machine failure modes; Ability to write a detailed evaluation report identifying all necessary repairs and/or replacement parts neededAssembly, pneumatic pressure testing of assembled equipment, painting of finished repair and final inspectionField Service Work - Removal and Instillation of equipment, shaft alignment, seal changes, and preventative maintenanceSafely use hand, power, pneumatic and hydraulic toolsFamiliarity/some experience manual lathes, milling machines and other typical machine shop equipmentExperience with Pneumatic and Hydrostatic testing of parts and equipmentExperience with Mechanical seals preferred including, but not limited to ability to read and understand mechanical seal drawings, mechanical seal removal, installation, and pneumatic pressure testing when necessaryAbility to properly use various types of precision measuring equipmentExperience and ability to safely use lifting devices such as cranes, forklifts, and riggingWelding knowledge, skills, and experience preferred#zzjjAdditional InformationPhysical Demand: Able to lift 50 lbs.
