We are seeking a skilled Software Microservices Developer to join our team.About the RoleThe ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable Golang-based microservices that power Cloudflare's billing systems.They will develop and integrate RESTful APIs that interface with external financial and operational systems, manage containerized deployments using Kubernetes and Docker, collaborate with internal stakeholders across teams to deliver new features and maintain operational excellence, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues across distributed systems, participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning sessions, and contribute to continuous improvement of system reliability, scalability, and security.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain Golang-based microservices that power Cloudflare's billing systems.Develop and integrate RESTful APIs that interface with external financial and operational systems.Work with event-driven systems and streaming architectures using Kafka.Manage containerized deployments using Kubernetes and Docker.Collaborate with internal stakeholders across teams to deliver new features and maintain operational excellence.Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues across distributed systems.Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning sessions.Contribute to continuous improvement of system reliability, scalability, and security.RequirementsGolang programming skills.Experience with RESTful APIs and API integration.Knowledge of event-driven systems and streaming architectures.Familiarity with containerized deployments using Kubernetes and Docker.Strong collaboration and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Continuous learning attitude.
