This role ensures compliance, operational excellence, cost optimization, and supply continuity by bridging the gap between corporate global strategy and regional business needs.Your challenges will include:1. Operational Leadership & Strategy ExecutionManage Regional Buying Teams: Lead and develop the operational procurement team to ensure high performance, process compliance, and professional growth.Implement global framework agreement: work closely with category leaders to roll out global contracts regionally, ensuring local requirements are met without compromising global leverage.Drive orocess excellence: Apply Lean/Six Sigma principles to streamline the "procure-to-pay" cycle and improve regional buying efficiency. 2. Market Intelligence & AnalysisMonitor market trends: Analyze regional indices, competitor behavior, and technical developments to forecast price fluctuations and supply risks.Benchmarking: Regularly compare regional pricing and commercial terms against competitors to maintain a competitive edge while ensuring full legal and anti-trust compliance.Data-driven reporting: Consolidate market research and internal KPIs into actionable monthly reports to guide executive decision-making. 3. Supplier & Stakeholder ManagementLocal face to suppliers: Act as the primary regional point of contact for key suppliers to resolve escalations, conduct performance reviews, and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify supply chain bottlenecks and develop alternative sourcing formulations or backup plans.Sourcing: Lead team to run competitive tenders for categories under direct responsibility 4. Continuous Improvement & ComplianceKnowledge Leadership: Stay current on industry innovations and digital procurement tools to suggest improvements in commercial positioning.EHS & Quality Standards: Ensure all regional purchasing activities strictly adhere to Health, Safety, Environment, and corporate governance guidelines.Compliance: Establish and enforce local procedures, ensuring transparency in the purchasing activities What we're looking for:Education: Bachelor's degree in Administration, Engineering, or related fieldsExperience: Solid knowledge of purchasing processes, negotiation, and import/export regulations;Technical Skills: Training in Purchasing and Supply Chain/ Proficiency in Microsoft Office/ Experience with ERP and P2 P softwares.Languages: Fluency in English, any other language is a plusAvailability to travel.
