Hitachi Energy is recruiting a Paralegal (Legal Assistant).In this role, you will be part of our Legal Operations Team, supporting the Global Legal & Integrity Team, including the Office of Special Investigation (OSI).You will handle documents and urgent matters, contributing to our legal functions.How You'll Make an Impact:Assist lawyers in preparing documents such as contracts, memorandums, and non-disclosure agreements.Edit and proofread various contracts and legal correspondence.Identify and mitigate risks and opportunities to ensure high-quality document delivery.Summarize key provisions from contracts.Contribute to the development of legal & integrity services.Support OSI/Compliance global investigations: take interview notes and prepare statements.Assist in conflict resolution and HR-referred cases.Perform quality assurance on selected cases.Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility and caring for colleagues and the business.Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, procedures, and guidelines.Your Background:Bachelor's degree in Law.At least two (2) years of experience in contracts/NDAs, preferably with international contracts.Experience with compliance investigations and tools like Navex, Relativity, Zylab is a plus.Proficiency with Microsoft O365, especially MS Lists, Teams, Word, and Excel.Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and handle time-sensitive documents.Excellent attention to detail and understanding of contracts and legal terminology.Fluent in spoken and written English; Spanish proficiency is highly desirable.Hitachi Energy is a global leader in sustainable energy solutions, serving utility, industry, and infrastructure sectors.We innovate and enable digital transformation to accelerate the energy transition to a carbon-neutral future.With around 45,000 employees across 90 countries, we value diversity and collaboration as drivers of innovation.Apply today and join a global team committed to purpose-driven work.#J-*****-Ljbffr
