OverviewWe're looking for a skilled and proactive Shopify Web Developer & Site Maintenance Manager to support a luxury e-commerce brand in maintaining and optimizing their Shopify-based website.This role is ideal for a technically strong, detail-oriented individual who can manage ongoing site maintenance, identify and resolve issues efficiently, and contribute to the brand's digital presence with consistent, high-quality improvements.The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Shopify development, experience with theme management and app integrations, and a problem-solving mindset.You'll act as the go-to person for all web-related communication and be responsible for managing ongoing maintenance tasks, small enhancements, and reporting.ResponsibilitiesManage Shopify theme backups and recommend new themes when necessary for major design overhaulsConduct monthly app compatibility reviews to ensure performance and flag potential issuesPerform monthly site spot checks to identify broken links or functionality issuesImplement website improvements, including content updates, CTA adjustments, and UX enhancementsHandle ad hoc bug fixes and technical troubleshooting as neededOversee and manage the development task queue, acting as the main point of contact for web-related communicationProvide clear, structured monthly reports detailing tasks completed and hours usedBasic Qualifications3+ years of experience working with Shopify development and website maintenanceSolid understanding of Shopify's architecture, theme customization, and third-party app integrationsExperience managing content updates, site QA, and debuggingStrong organizational and project management skills; able to track multiple tasks and communicate clearly with stakeholdersFamiliarity with performance optimization, UX improvements, and cross-browser compatibilityAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionPreferred QualificationsExperience working with e-commerce or luxury lifestyle brandsKnowledge of analytics and reporting tools to support performance-based decisionsStrong written communication skills for internal updates and reportingExperience using tools like Trello, Asana, or similar for task and project trackingAbout RYZ LabsRYZ Labs is a startup studio built in **** by two lifelong entrepreneurs.The founders have worked at some of the world's largest tech companies and iconic consumer brands, with experience in Latam.The team works remotely and is distributed across the US and Latam, using cloud technologies to build scalable, resilient applications.RYZ aims to provide diverse product solutions and plans to build multiple startups in the coming years.At RYZ, you will work with autonomy and efficiency, owning every step of your development.We provide opportunities for learning, growth, expansion, and challenging projects, and you will collaborate with a team of professionals and specialists.Our valuesCustomer First Mentality - every decision should be viewed through the customer lensBias for Action - urgency is critical, with accelerated timelinesOwnership - step up to help even if not your core responsibilityHumility and Respect - be willing to learn and treat everyone with respectFrugality - being cost-conscious helps us do more with lessDeliver Impact - get things done efficientlyRaise our Standards - continuously improve processes, team, and expectationsEmployment detailsSeniority level: Not ApplicableEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Engineering and Information TechnologyIndustries: Technology, Information and Internet#J-*****-Ljbffr
