Site Manager

**Job Description Summary**:- As a member of a multi-disciplined team, required to perform projects, commissioning, services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property.These activities contribute to, I&C, maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing products.Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage I&C, maintenance facilities and field services engineering.- Provides leadership in setting and achieving assigned goals in the profitable to project, installation, commissioning, start up, maintenance, and repair of GEPC products, and the growth of the service contract base.**Essential Functions**:- Supports the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair of products and systems.- Be responsible to develop field execution strategies, site staffing schedules & forecasts, customer/ constructor meetings and field operation/projects reports.- Ensure that all technical requirements on allocated projects are met.- Provide the key technical interface to the customer.- Plan and progress erection, test and commissioning activities for specific projects, inclusive of communication.- Monitor, control and manage services budget and change control system.- Act as the field execution owner for the customer, managing Fulfillment 5 (safety, quality productivity, on-time-delivery, cost) to ensure operating plans are met according to schedule.- Ensure all aspects of job related to field service are planned accordingly, including schedule, cost, man loading, and job set-up.- Serve as additional customer interface with P&L, and communicate with Customer.- Plan prepare, and manage services activities related to projects from beginning to end by reviewing project requirements, developing and executing against cost estimates, and owning performance relative to Fulfillment5 and customer CTQs.- Communicate with Field Service Coordinators, Resource Managers, EHS Managers, and Project Managers to update the job status and ensure project success Identify the need and complete requisition process for tooling and 3rd party vender (labor and non-labor) services.- Conduct audits and inspections on the work teams during the execution of the installation, commissioning, receiving, operation and maintenance activities.- Analyze and report project close out metrics to determine proximity to operating plan targets.- Implement corrective actions based upon Safety Observations, Advanced.- Communication Notifications, and Root Cause Analyses.- Reward and recognize strong performance on the job site.- Ensure EHS standards at site are met by working with the Site EHS Specialists to develop and execute FME plans, customer requirements, and overall EHS plan compliance and completion.- Run or support (as required) end customer pre- and post-outage meetings to maximize project efficiency and effectiveness.- Approve/assure technical reports generated on site and update documentation as required.**Qualifications/Requirements**English proficiency to participate in an international project team.- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.- Experience in Metals Projects (Mills and finishing lines).- Experience in erection, commissioning, integration in large & multi-discipline projects.**Desired Characteristics****Experience**- Experience in an engineering design environment in relevant industry (Energy, Mining, steel industry, etc.).- Previous experience in an engineering design environment.- Experience in a leadership role.**Personal Qualities**- Ability to multi-task on a variety of projects to strict time scales.- Good communication skills.- Good report writing skills in order to report to management.- Good personal organisational skills.- Good report writing skills.- Ability to multi-task on a variety of projects to strict time scales.**Circumstances**- Willing to travel within base country and overseas for short/long term working.- Driving licence.**Additional Information**:**Relocation Assistance Provided**:No
