Backend Software EngineerWe are seeking a talented Backend Software Engineer to join our team.As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, efficient, and reliable software systems.About the OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity to work on a critical project that powers internal and external billing services.You will be part of a collaborative team that works in a modern environment built primarily in Golang, using Kafka, Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL at scale.ResponsibilitiesDesign, Build, and Maintain Golang-based microservices powering our billing systems.Develop and Integrate RESTful APIs interfacing with external financial and operational systems.Work with Event-Driven Systems and streaming architectures using Kafka.Manage Containerized Deployments using Kubernetes and Docker.Collaborate with Internal Stakeholders to deliver new features and maintain operational excellence.Diagnose, Troubleshoot, and Resolve production issues across distributed systems.Participate in Code Reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning sessions.Contribute to Continuous Improvement of system reliability, scalability, and security.Required Skills and Qualifications5+ years of professional backend development experience.Strong hands-on experience with Golang.Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and backend microservices.Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.Proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration and deployment.Familiarity with event-driven systems.Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
