Endpoint Engineering Leadership Role

Job Title: Endpoint Engineer ManagerAs a seasoned endpoint engineer manager, you will lead a team of experienced engineers responsible for maintaining and securing over 600 corporate devices across the global organization.Key Responsibilities:Lead and mentor a team of endpoint engineers, providing technical guidance and career development to enhance team performance and expertise.Oversee maintenance, patching, and compliance for endpoints using robust management platforms like NinjaOne, ensuring seamless operation and minimizing disruptions.Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual processes, minimize end-user contact time, and optimize endpoint performance.Ensure all endpoints meet strict compliance requirements, adhering to industry standards and regulations.Develop and implement comprehensive endpoint security policies and procedures to safeguard against emerging threats.Manage relationships with vendor partners specializing in endpoint management and security solutions, fostering collaboration and driving innovation.Respond promptly to and troubleshoot complex endpoint issues, demonstrating hands-on technical expertise and strategic thinking.Create and maintain detailed documentation for endpoint standards and processes, facilitating knowledge sharing and best practices within the team.Collaborate closely with security and IT teams to design and implement robust endpoint protection strategies, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.Monitor endpoint health metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing data-driven enhancements to boost reliability and efficiency.Coordinate and execute timely patch management cycles across all devices, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.Requirements:A minimum of 2 years of experience in people management, preferably in IT or technical teams, with a proven track record of success.At least 5 years of hands-on endpoint management experience, with expertise in managing both Windows and macOS environments at scale.Strong proficiency in robust endpoint management platforms like NinjaOne or similar solutions, with experience automating tasks using PowerShell, Python, or comparable scripting languages.Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain compliance with key security frameworks such as SOC2, ISO*****, GDPR, and CCPA, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues and provide strategic guidance to team members.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with vendors, cross-functional teams, and remote colleagues.Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with minimal supervision and maximum autonomy.Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken, are essential for this role.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in cybersecurity or identity governance industries, with a strong understanding of emerging trends and technologies.Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator or similar, demonstrating expertise in relevant areas.Experience with zero-trust security models, endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools, and other advanced endpoint security solutions.Proficiency in automation tools and scripting for large-scale deployments, with a focus on improving efficiency and reducing manual labor.Background in implementing self-service IT solutions, with a passion for streamlining workflows and enhancing user experiences.Work Environment:This is a fully remote position, requiring flexibility and adaptability in terms of working hours and communication styles.Occasional meetings across global time zones may be required, necessitating excellent time zone management and scheduling skills.Participation in on-call rotations for critical issues may be necessary, demanding high levels of availability, responsiveness, and problem-solving expertise.
