We are looking for an experiencedSoftware Architect to join our team on projects with a major OEM, focusing on the design and integration of next-generation automotive software platforms.
In this role, you will define scalable architectures, ensure interoperability across systems, and integrate modern concepts such as connected services, service-oriented design, and cybersecurity.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust, future-proof solutions for software-defined vehicles.Engagement detailsLocation: Minas Gerais, Brazil (Hybrid)Start date: 14 September 2025Benefits: Competitive package, international OEM exposureResponsibilitiesEnsure end-to-end consistency of software architecture across vehicle domainsDefine scalable and modular service-oriented architectures, including Ethernet-based service designGuarantee interoperability across stacks (RTOS, OSEK-Classic AUTOSAR, Adaptive AUTOSAR, Linux, etc.)Support safety and cybersecurity implementation in architecture concepts (ISO 26262, ASPICE)Contribute to the setup and benchmarking of architecture toolchains and methodologiesCollaborate with suppliers, software/hardware teams, and external partners to deliver integrated solutionsResearch emerging tools and technologies to innovate data management and runtime adaptability in SDVsDocument architectural concepts, track progress, and ensure milestones and quality objectives are achievedProvide technical support and architectural guidance to project stakeholdersQualificationsEngineering degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field6+ years of embedded software development experience in complex systemsProficiency in C/C++ in multi-threaded, multi-process environmentsExperience with formal software architecture design and modern tools (SysML, MBSE, etc.)Solid understanding of service-oriented architectures, signals, and communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)Knowledge of AUTOSAR Classic and AdaptiveFamiliarity with ASPICE and ISO 26262 functional safety standardsStrong knowledge of microprocessor hardware (caches, buses, DMA, memory controllers)Ability to adapt to new platforms and technologies quicklyFluent EnglishWays to stand outDeep knowledge of functional safety concepts (ASIL decomposition, monitoring, safety mechanisms)Experience with Linux, Android, and AUTOSAR environmentsExpertise in multi-core software architecture, memory management, virtualization, and kernel-level securityFamiliarity with cloud integration technologies (REST, MQTT, AMQP, TCP/UDP)Next StepsClick Apply.We will review your application.If qualified, you'll be accepted into the Hashlist network and considered for this and other relevant projects.
