Job OverviewAs a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting large-scale cloud operations across multiple providers and SaaS solutions.Your primary responsibility will be to manage cloud infrastructure, ensure security and compliance, optimize performance and cost, and drive automation across the DevOps lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:Design, build, and manage cloud-based infrastructure across AWS and other providers, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.Lead migrations from EC2 to Kubernetes-native environments, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.Support large-scale live and product events with reliable, scalable DevOps practices, guaranteeing high-quality user experiences.Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) and DevOps automation to streamline deployments, reduce errors, and enhance collaboration among teams.Manage security response, incident management, and compliance across systems, protecting sensitive data and maintaining regulatory adherence.Maintain observability and monitoring frameworks for critical services, providing real-time insights and informing data-driven decisions.Optimize cloud spend and ensure cost-efficient resource utilization, aligning business goals with technological innovations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance application delivery, load balancing, caching, and backend performance, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.Support frontend (CDN/load balancing) and backend (DB/caching) delivery management, ensuring smooth user interactions and efficient system performance.Contribute to Agile development cycles and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices, driving speed, quality, and customer satisfaction.Required Skills & Experience:Proven hands-on experience in DevOps engineering and cloud infrastructure management, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.Expertise with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Kubernetes, with a deep understanding of their respective capabilities and limitations.Strong experience with serverless technologies and container orchestration, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and automation frameworks, streamlining deployments and enhancing collaboration among teams.Solid understanding of observability, configuration management, and system monitoring, providing real-time insights and informing data-driven decisions.Experience with security response, compliance, and incident resolution, protecting sensitive data and maintaining regulatory adherence.Knowledge of frontend delivery (CDN, load balancing) and backend management (DB, caching), ensuring smooth user interactions and efficient system performance.Strong grasp of Agile methodologies and development lifecycle management, driving speed, quality, and customer satisfaction.Nice to Have:Familiarity with multi-cloud environments and SaaS administration, expanding your skill set and adaptability.Experience in governance, cost optimization, and compliance management, further enhancing your expertise and value proposition.Understanding of application workloads, both frontend and backend, allowing you to make informed decisions and drive strategic initiatives.
