Frontend Engineer

Frontend Engineer – React Location: Remote Duration: Contract Required Qualifications•3+ years of frontend development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.•3+ years of hands-on experience with at least one major frontend framework (React required; Svelte/Astro preferred).•Proven experience developing applications on Smart TVs, set-top boxes, or other non-browser embedded environments.•Strong experience integrating and consuming REST APIs.•Experience with AWS (Lambda, S3, CloudFront, EC2, etc.) is strongly preferred.•Solid debugging skills across different devices and environments.•Experience with Selenium or other QA automation frameworks.•Skilled in unit testing, TDD, CI/CD, and version control branching patterns.•Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment with multiple scrum teams.•Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.•Detail-oriented, consumer-focused, and passionate about delivering outstanding user experiences.Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)•Experience with streaming or media platforms.•Knowledge of TV OS platforms (Tizen, webOS, Roku, Fire TV, Android TV, etc.).•Knowledge of performance optimization on constrained devices.•Familiarity with video playback SDKs or OTT application development.
