Location: 100% Remote (Candidates can work from anywhere in LATAM Countries)
Our Client is looking for a Product Owner who will be responsible for leading development to enhance their SaaS based platform that supports our portfolio of businesses.
The primary focus of this role will be to work with cross-functional stakeholders to create solutions to maintain performance on the current platform.
The product owner will drive planning and execution of development the lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing business requirements, defining the direction/roadmap, and working closely with user experience, engineering, QA, sales, customer service and marketing to ensure timely and effective development releases and launches within our platform that connects millions of professions to learning destinations.
Job Responsibilities: Work with business unit leaders and product managers to determine a roadmap and release prioritization for assigned areas Work closely with business partners to generate high quality product requirement documents and functional specifications Lead cross functional teams to track status, resolve issues, and coordinate communication during the development process Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure platform development is delivered to spec Communicate across BUs to ensure an understanding of the functionality, the implications for the business, and the process for leveraging new capabilities.
Be informed of industry trends – developer tools, virtualization, containers, etc.
Act as Scrum/Agile product owner for your areas including proactively building, maintaining, and prioritizing a well-groomed, estimated, and detailed backlog Be well-versed in how to use data to prioritize and make quick and informed decisions Job Requirement: Ability to work closely with businesses and understand their requirements (Experience working with online education/learning businesses preferred) Ability to easily communicate with engineers about various aspects of a SaaS and PaaS system, including eLearning and e-commerce components and integrations 5+ years of product/platform management experience in a SaaS or PaaS B2B context Deep understanding of eLearning and e-commerce platforms Experience with Confluence, Jira, and other product management software Experience in a Scrum-based agile environment Demonstrated ability to manage projects and timelines 2 or more years as a product manager or product owner College degree or equivalent experience in related field Experience with direct-to-consumer business Strong interpersonal and superior written skills required Strong attention to detail Experience with Microsoft Office applications is required
