Our vision is to become the payment infrastructure for emerging markets , addressing pain points such as fragmented channels, high integration costs, and complex compliance requirements Localization: Deep cooperation with major banks, wallets, and regulators to rapidly meet compliance and settlement requirements Payment stability: Ensuring transaction success and user experience even under weak network conditions. End-to-end services: Covering the full chain from user payments and merchant settlement to fund security, reconciliation, and risk control. Long-term orientation: Emphasizing long-term partnerships and deep integration into local ecosystems rather than short-term gains. Payer Max has successfully built payment networks across MENA, Southeast Asia, and Latin America ,serving global merchants such as Tik Tok, Tencent, Kuaishou, and Alibaba International, helping them improve local conversion rates and reduce compliance risks. ?Key Responsibilities?1. Ensure compliance with local regulations, including Brazilian Central Bank rules. 2. Develop and maintain local policies and procedures to comply with local AML, KYC and channels requirements. 3. Ongoing monitoring of transactions and client behavior to detect and report suspicious activities. 4. Oversee merchants onboarding processes and industries to ensure compliance with the local regulations and have proper risk assessment. 5. Review local licensing frameworks and triggers. Be the key point of contact with legal and law firm for licensing preparation when company decides to apply for the license. 6. Implement a compliance training program for employees working with the Lat Am region to promote a culture of ethics and local regulation awareness. 7. Ensure data privacy and security standards are followed in line with the Brazilian LGPD (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados). 8. Have ownership of data verification processes and compliance vendors relationship and payment application. 9. Assess regulatory risks in new products or services, including partnerships with banks, acquirers, and card schemes. 10. Update the company's compliance framework in response to changes in local regulations ?Who we are looking for? Minimum 5 years of solid experience in a compliance and AML related discipline preferably with a fintech or payment company. Good understanding and knowledge of the Fintech/E-wallets/Online Payment, with relevant AML Compliance Advisory experience. Be a trusted advisor and build sound relationships with stakeholders across all lines of businesses, and across functional groups. Must be driven towards being result oriented CAMS or other similar qualifications are preferred
