We are looking for aCore ASW Engineerto join the embedded software team inBetim (Brazil).In this role, you will develop, integrate, and validateApplication Software (ASW)modules that enable core vehicle functions – such as lighting, energy management, vehicle access, and driver alerts – within the AUTOSAR environment.You will be part of an international SDV organization, working closely with platform architects, system engineers, and function owners to deliver robust, scalable, and production-ready software.Engagement detailsLocation: Betim, BrazilContract type: Full-time (CLT) or Contractor (PJ/freelancer accepted)Start date: ASAPWork model: HybridBenefits: Competitive compensation; participation in global SDV programs; career growth in embedded systems and software architectureResponsibilitiesDevelop and integrate AUTOSAR Application Software (ASW) modules for core vehicle functions.Implement and validate software components using C and model-based design (Simulink, TargetLink, Embedded Coder).Support functional testing (MIL/SIL/HIL) and ensure traceability from requirements to implementation.Collaborate with System, BSW, and Architecture teams to ensure seamless integration across the full software stack.Debug and resolve issues in ASW components across development and validation phases.Ensure compliance with quality, safety (ISO *****), and ASPICE standards.Contribute to continuous improvement of the ASW development process and toolchain.QualificationsMust-HaveBachelor's or Master's in Computer, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering.5-8+ years of experience in embedded software development within the automotive industry.Strong knowledge of AUTOSAR (Classic or Adaptive) and ASW layer implementation.Hands-on experience in C programming , RTOS concepts, and ECU integration.Familiarity with CAN, LIN, and Ethernet communication protocols.Solid debugging skills and experience with software validation (unit, MIL/SIL/HIL).Strong collaboration and communication in a global, cross-functional team .English proficiency; Portuguese required.Nice-to-HaveExperience with Functional Safety (ISO *****) and ASPICE processes.Familiarity with Python scripting and automation of build/test flows.Experience with MCU-based development (NXP, Infineon, Renesas).Exposure to software architecture and design patterns in automotive context.Knowledge of Adaptive AUTOSAR and service-oriented architectures (SOA).Next stepsClickApply.We will review your application.If qualified, you'll be accepted into the Hashlist network and considered for this and similar projects.
