Senior Backend Developer (PHP) - BrazilDepartment: EngineeringEmployment Type: PermanentLocation: Remote BrazilOverviewWe're seeking a dedicated Senior Backend Developer to work within our Product Development group.You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including greenfield products, improving existing features, paying down technical debt, and everything in between.This role is an opportunity for you to really make a high impact and build as we enter our next phase of growth.We're looking for someone who not only will be driving new feature development, but also ensuring best practices are top of mind.ResponsibilitiesYou have worked on a product development team that has delivered features and services from beginning to endYou have designed and developed services that handle millions of requestsYou are able to innovate through iteration, breaking down product features into shippable value incrementsYou have worked closely with engineering peers, product and design members to create high-quality products that customers love to useYou have successfully helped your teams prioritize work to maximize quality, stability and project deliveryYou, through code reviews and peer feedback, advocate for high standards and look for ways to improve the overall quality of our codebaseYou take a collaborative approach to architecture, technical patterns, and complex problemsYou have experience working in a fully remote environmentWhat You\u****ll BringYou have 5+ years of professional experience with PHP, including PHP 8+ and the modern PHP ecosystemYou have deep experience with PHP frameworks such as LaravelYou have 4+ years of experience working on large-scale SaaS applications (no CMS, please)You are well-versed in various design patterns and know where to apply themYou have deep experience crafting optimized RDBMS queriesYou have experience leading technical discovery, architectural planning, and technical scoping on your teamYou have a high bar for quality and hold yourself and your peers accountable to itYou proactively take on challenges from start to finishYou're good at unblocking yourself and your team to keep things movingWhat You'll DoYour time will be divided between new features, UI/UX improvements, repaying technical debt, and improving existing featuresYou\u****ll prioritize and work on multiple projects from start to finish, balancing quality, stability and project deliveryYou\u****ll review your teammates\' work, help set high standards, and look for ways to improve the overall quality of our codebaseYou\u****ll work within your team to achieve technical excellence by taking a collaborative approach to architecture, technical patterns, and complex problemsWork-life balance is a priority at AgencyAnalytics, so you\u****ll have the flexibility to work the way that suits you bestOur StackModern PHP (PSR) + LaravelTypescript, React, and ReduxGCP Cloud SQL (MySQL), BigQuery, and RedisGCP Cloud Tasks and PubSub#J-*****-Ljbffr
