Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to drive our technology forward in Argentina or Brazil.The ideal candidate will have exceptional problem solving skills and be able to identify and solve complex technical issues efficiently.Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key, requiring seamless integration of frontend and backend components.Effective communication with team members, stakeholders, and non-technical persons is crucial as well as collaboration within the team, sharing knowledge and mentoring junior developers.Maintenance of code quality, organization, and automation is also an essential aspect of this role.A strong commitment to learning and staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends is vital for success.Development of strategies for transitioning from legacy systems to modern architectures is also required.Required Skills and QualificationsAt least 6 years of experience as a backend developer with a strong focus on C#.Proficiency in .NET Framework/.NET Core is mandatory.The ability to design RESTful APIs and architect software systems considering scalability, maintainability, and performance is essential.A strong emphasis on testing, automated testing frameworks, and writing unit tests is also necessary.Strong knowledge of database systems including SQL and NoSQL is required.Familiarity with design patterns, microservices, event-driven architecture, and other software design principles is a must.Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI, CD, and deployments pipelines utilizing tools like Git, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is also required.Understanding of front-end technologies such as React or Angular is a plus but not necessary.
