OverviewA US-based financial services organization is seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer to support the ongoing development and optimization of its cloud data platform.This role will focus on building and maintaining scalable ETL pipelines, enforcing strong data governance practices, and preparing the enterprise data warehouse to leverage advanced capabilities such as Snowflake Cortex and Snowflake Intelligence.This is a hands-on engineering role working closely with analytics, data science, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality, secure, and analytics-ready data.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and optimize robust ETL / ELT pipelines within Snowflake to support analytics and downstream use casesDevelop and maintain scalable data models to support reporting, BI, and advanced AI / ML workloadsImplement and enforce data governance best practices, including data quality, lineage, access controls, and compliance requirementsPrepare and structure data to enable future adoption of Snowflake Cortex and Snowflake Intelligence capabilitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutionsMonitor and improve performance, cost efficiency, and reliability of the Snowflake data warehouseSupport documentation and knowledge sharing across the data engineering functionRequired QualificationsStrong hands-on experience as a Data Engineer working with Snowflake in production environmentsProven experience building and maintaining ETL / ELT pipelines at scaleSolid understanding of data governance, data quality frameworks, and security best practicesExperience working in regulated or financial services environments is strongly preferredStrong SQL skills and experience working with cloud-based data warehousesPreferred / Advantageous SkillsExperience with modern data tools such as :FivetranMatillionApache AirflowExperience collaborating with data science or AI teams#J-*****-Ljbffr
