Endpoint Engineer Lead

Job Title: Endpoint Engineer LeadAs an experienced endpoint engineer lead, you will be responsible for managing a team of 4 engineers and overseeing the maintenance, patching, and compliance for over 600 Windows and macOS endpoints.Your goal will be to reduce manual processes and minimize end-user contact time while ensuring that endpoints meet compliance requirements.You will develop and implement endpoint security policies and procedures, manage vendor relationships with endpoint management and security solution providers, and respond to and troubleshoot complex endpoint issues.Additionally, you will create and maintain documentation for endpoint standards and processes, collaborate with security and IT teams to implement endpoint protection strategies, and monitor endpoint health metrics to implement improvements to enhance reliability.In this role, you will also coordinate patch management cycles and ensure timely deployment across all devices, lead incident response efforts for endpoint-related security events, and oversee the implementation of automation initiatives using tools such as NinjaOne Drive.We are seeking an individual with 2+ years of people management experience in IT or technical teams, 5+ years of hands-on endpoint management experience, and strong proficiency with NinjaOne or similar endpoint management platforms.You should also have experience managing both Windows and macOS environments at scale and demonstrated experience automating endpoint management tasks using PowerShell, Python, or similar.Furthermore, we require a deep understanding of patch management software deployment and configuration management, experience maintaining compliance with security frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO *****, GDPR, CCPA, and strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.Excellent communication skills for vendor management and cross-functional collaboration are essential, as well as the ability to work independently in a remote environment.Finally, you must be able to read and speak fluently in English.
