Location: Ibaté, SP – BrazilJob type: Full time/ PermanentReporting Line: AVC CEO & Group COO-CFODirect reports: 5 Employees (Finance, Accounting, Credit Analysts) Chief Financial Officer - CFO will oversee the financial management of our fertilizer's distribution operations in Brazil, which started its distribution strategy 3 years ago in Brazil and already operates more than 1 million tons, with its own factories, outsourced services and a JV, with annual strong growth expectations and heavy investments in the coming years and to coordinate group-level financial reporting and budget planning with our headquarters.This role requires a Russian Speaking professional with deep financial expertise, operational insight, and the ability to bridge international business cultures and languages.Main Responsibilities:(1) Financial Leadership & Strategy Lead and develop a finance team locally, ensuring strong accounting practices and continuous improvementLead all financial functions of the Brazil operations including accounting, budgeting, cash flow, heading, forecasting, and financial reportingDevelop and oversee short- and long-term financial plans aligned with the company's strategic objectivesProvide insights and recommendations to the local CEO and global executive team on financial performance, risks, and investment opportunitiesDevelopment of analysis of investment projects, whether organic or through acquisitions, whether owned or in partnership with third parties(2) AVC Plant Financial OversightWork closely with the Operations Director and operations team to ensure cost-effective production processMonitor and control operating expenses, raw material costs, labor efficiency, and capital expenditureImplement cost control initiatives and efficiency improvements across production activitiesFoster collaboration between the finance, operations, and commercial teams(3) Group Reporting & ComplianceManage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for group consolidation to the headquartersEnsure compliance with Brazilian financial regulations and alignment with group corporate policiesMonitor key financial KPIs and implement performance improvement measuresLiaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and legal advisors as needed(4) Budgeting & ForecastingDevelop annual forecasts for Brazil operations in coordination with the group finance teamAnnual budget preparation including submission of the P& L and CAPEX budgets to Oracle HFMTrack performance against budget and provide variance analysis with actionable insightsQualifications and Requirements: Proven experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or Senior Finance Manager in a manufacturing or distribution environment, preferably in agriculture or chemicalsHands-on experience managing finances for a production plant with labor oversight or similar business setupStrong knowledge of Brazilian tax law, accounting standards, and labor regulationsProficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting toolsExperience working in an international group with reporting obligations to a foreign HQAbility to operate strategically while remaining hands-on in a mid-sized operational environmentExperience with multinational financial reporting, budgeting, and consolidation processesFluent in Portuguese, Russian, and English (written and spoken)Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred What We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageA dynamic, international work environmentProfessional development and clear career progression opportunitiesPlease apply directly through the Job post or send me your updated resume DM.*Only matching candidates will be contacted.
