About Phi Partners Phi Partners is the a market leader for capital markets technology services providing technology & quant services, solutions, and expertise to buy-side and sell-side financial institutions including some of the world's largest investment banks, hedge funds and asset management firms.Founded in **** and headquartered in London, Phi has a presence in all major continents.Our niche focus on Front Office Technology has been a differentiator and gateway into the world's best financial institutions.Phi Partners has nearshore Centres-of-Excellence which are specialized in respective 'Lines of Business' (LoBs).Our latest São Paulo Centre-of-Excellence, houses our Quant, Front Office & Risk Technology Services & Murex teams.Our services include front office pricing, risk engineering as well as quant model development, model integration and model validation.Consultants in this location have the opportunity to be mentored by well-known industry-leading Front Office, Risk & Quantitative experts, and work for a variety of top-tier clients including the world's largest Investment Banks, Asset Management Companies, and market-leading Hedge Funds.About The Practice Phi Partners is one of the largest consultancies specializing FORTS, with a dedicated team of over 175 consultants spread across multiple locations.Our team is distinguished by deep expertise in front-office and risk technology solutions, empowering top-tier financial institutions to optimize their trading and risk management capabilities.At Phi Partners, we are committed to a collaborative, high-performance culture where professionals work together to deliver complex front-office solutions to elite clients.We specialize in the end-to-end implementation of front-office and risk platforms, from initial requirements gathering to post-go-live support, ensuring that our clients are fully supported throughout the platform lifecycle.We focus on custom development and configuration, creating solutions that address unique client needs and regulatory requirements in real-time trading and risk management.Additionally, we conduct extensive training and knowledge transfer sessions, ensuring client teams are equipped to maximize the value of their technology investments.Key Responsibilities • Design and develop robust, scalable applications supporting E-Trading systems across asset classes • Work with trading, operations, and business teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions • Apply sound design and architecture principles, using data structures and algorithms for performance • Stay current with technologies and industry trends, particularly within algorithmic and e-Trading platforms • Analyze and resolve system bottlenecks, performance issues, and application bugs The Ideal candidate • Hands-on experience with Java, C#, or C++ - including concurrency and performance tuning • Experience with unit testing and CI/CD pipelines • Knowledge on one of the following: Equities; FX; Rates; Credit; and Derivatives is a plus • In-depth knowledge of multithreading, memory management, and low-latency systems • Solid understanding of design & architecture principles, common data structures and algorithms complexity • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, tools like Intellij, JIRA and Confluence and version control in Git • Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
