OverviewAgileEngine is an Inc. **** company that creates award-winning software for Fortune 500 brands and trailblazing startups across 17+ industries.We rank among the leaders in areas like application development and AI/ML, and our people-first culture has earned us multiple Best Place to Work awards.WHY JOIN USIf you're looking for a place to grow, make an impact, and work with people who care, we'd love to meet youABOUT THE ROLEAs a Middle/Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, you'll help ensure the accuracy and reliability of analytics products that support data-driven decisions in the healthcare domain.Partnering closely with product, data, and engineering teams, you'll balance hands-on testing with automation to strengthen quality across APIs, backend workflows, and data pipelines.This role offers meaningful influence on quality strategy, growth in automation and analytics expertise, and a collaborative, ownership-driven team environment.ResponsibilitiesExecute manual and automated tests across APIs, backend pipelines, and analytics outputsValidate data transformations, business rules, and calculations against requirementsWrite SQL queries to confirm data accuracy, identify inconsistencies, and investigate reported issuesCreate and maintain test cases, test plans, and execution reports using Jira/TestRail or similar toolsParticipate in requirements reviews to identify gaps, ambiguities, and edge cases earlySupport automation efforts by creating or updating API test scripts and regression suitesCollaborate with developers and data engineers to troubleshoot defects and verify fixesContribute to improving CI/CD test integration and quality gatesMonitor recurring defects and provide visibility into quality trendsAssist in validating releases and confirming readiness for deploymentQualifications2–4 years of professional QA experience in manual and automation testingStrong SQL skills including joins, DML/DDL, data validation, window functions, and logic validationExperience testing APIs manually using Postman, Insomnia, or similar toolsBasic exposure to API automation frameworks or scriptingExperience using Jira, TestRail, or similar QA management toolsUnderstanding of CI/CD concepts and version control such as GitHub or BitbucketAbility to analyze functional requirements and propose test scenarios and edge casesSolid understanding of QA processes, regression cycles, and defect lifecycleUpper-intermediate English levelNice to HavePython knowledge at a basic scripting levelExperience with Snowflake or other cloud data warehousesFamiliarity with Apache NiFi, S3, or AWS LambdaExperience testing Looker, Power BI, MicroStrategy, or similar BI toolsBackend automation experience using Python-based frameworksUnderstanding of data processing, ETL, or large-scale ingestion pipelinesPrevious exposure to healthcare, pharma, or analytics dataPerks and BenefitsProfessional growth: Mentorship, TechTalks, and personalized growth roadmaps.Competitive compensation: USD-based pay with education, fitness, and team activity budgets.Exciting projects: Modern solutions with Fortune 500 and top product companies.Flextime: Flexible schedule with remote and office options.#J-*****-Ljbffr
